It is absolutely beautiful outside today.
It's the kind of day that makes you want to kick off your shoes and walk around barefoot in the grass; the kind of day that makes you think of ice cold coca-cola and riding your bike.

I love these kind of days!

And in honor of such a beautiful thing, here are my Top 5 (Things I Love to do on Sunny Days)

1. Go Out to Eat
I can't honestly say what it is about sunny days that makes me want to eat out, but it happens every time the sun is shining. I don't crave anything in particular. It has more to do with wanting to feel carefree and not cooking dinner or doing dishes is my definition of carefree. On sunny days, I say, let someone else clean up the mess!

2. Play Frisbee
As far as I'm concerned, you're never too old to play and nice weather begs to played in. I love finding a long stretch of grass and tossing a disc back and forth. It reminds me of the carefree days of college when everyday offered another opportunity to play a round of disc golf.

3. Eat Ice Cream
We have 3 places to get scooped ice cream within walking distance of our apartment, so we never lack for choice when the craving hits us. During the summer months, we go at least once a week. My personal favorite is the frozen yogurt at Mia Gelato. The yogurt is plain and they top it with different kinds of fruit. Mmmm!

4. Walk along the Lakeshore
Kingston has an extensive trail that goes all along the lake open to joggers, bikers, and walkers alike. It sits just a few feet from our door, so we have easy access any time we want step out and take a stroll. On a day like today, that's easy exercise.

5. Have drinks on the balcony
The drink can be anything...coffee, tea, lemonade, beer, wine...whatever suits my mood. As long as there's a chair involved and the beautiful view of the lake, I don't need anything else.
