We're heading home to Michigan tomorrow and I can't wait. We haven't been home in 8 months! And I would love to cram in a visit with all of my friends and family, but unfortunately we just don't have the time. Sigh.

1. Family
Every single person in my family lives in Michigan...I kid you not. Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Grandparents, second cousins twice removed...everyone lives in Michigan. We are a Mitten State family and every time we go home there seems to be an occasion for everyone to get together. We laugh, we cry, we drive each other crazy. It's such a blessing and I'm so glad my kids and Clay get to be a part of it.

We have great friends and a lot of them have spread far and wide across the world. Fortunately for us, some of those amazing people still live in the Mitten State and I'm so happy when we get the chance to spend time with them (not this time though...boo).

3. Great Lakes, Great Times
As I have said before, I'm a water person. I love the Great Lakes. They are so beautiful and have provided hours upon hours of good memories for our family. Need I say more?

4. Holland, MI
Holland holds so many great memories for both Clay and I. It's where we went to school. It's where we meant. It's where we began our life together. Holland will always hold a special spot in my heart.

5. Tigers Baseball
A few years ago, the Tigers captured my heart and I've been hooked ever since. Clay and I look forward to seeing games while we're home. It will be like a little slice of heaven.
